Care Instructions

 

We recommend hand washing your suit in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.  Gently use a toothbrush or your hands to lightly scrub the tan off the fabric and connectors.  Once clean, pat dry with a towel and lay flat to dry. 

Never dry clean your suit or place it in a washing machine.

 

 

When Should I order? 

 

Our busy time starts mid January and runs all the way til about September.  We recommend allowing at least 8 weeks for production although placing your order around 10-12 weeks is best.  This doesn't mean  your suit will be started right away, just allows us time to plan and book your suit for production and ensure all the components you've chosen are in stock.  Sometimes crystals and connectors are special order and take 2-3 weeks to arrive.  We like to start your suit about 6 weeks before your show as your body will change quite a bit in that time frame. 

 

We will contact you before your suit ships to ensure you like the way it looks and to grab your final measurements.  

If you require your suit in a shorter time frame we offer a rushed shipping option however, this doesn't guarantee all the crystal options are in stock.  We will contact you when you place your order and discuss any slight changes etc.

Domestic Shipping

 

We ship all Canadian orders expedited shipping via Canada Post. Please allow 2-4 business days for expedited and 5-10 days for regular post.  If you require rush shipping, please specify in your notes.

 

 

International Shipping 

 

International shipping is extremely expensive!! We typically always use Canada post as FedEx or Purolator can be really really pricey!!

f you are buying from anywhere outside of Canada we recommend ordering your suit 10-12 weeks in advance.  After we ship your suit and it leaves Canada we have no control over it. Sometimes packages can get held in customs for weeks. Sarah Marie Bikini is not responsible for a delay on international orders due to wait times at customs. We will provide you with a tracking number to track your package.  If you require your order quicker we can send you a quote with a different shipping provider before we start your order so you can decide if you want to move forward.

 

 

 

Returns

How to Return  

 

We start all custom bikinis based on your measurements provided, therefore we have a strict no return policy. It is important you double check your measurements prior to sending your form. We also encourage you to send us good quality pictures NOT IN A SPORTS BRA so we can ensure the type of top you chose is going to be a good fit. 

We want you to be happy with your purchase and are happy to alter your suit.  Please email us with any concerns. 

 

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items  

 

Every order goes through a very thorough quality check to ensure there are no damaged items.  Each suit is carefully wrapped and placed in a mailing envelope.  Cup Cases are available by request.  If you would like your order packaged in a mailing box, please specify in your notes. 

 

Sometimes packages can be handled a little rougher than we would expect and therefore sometimes items may be damaged.  If your suit arrives with noticeable damage please let us know right away. 

 

 

What if my suit doesn't fit me  

 

Your bikini should fit you snug. If the top is too small simply remove the padding. If the top is too big, you can scrunch the triangle together along the bottom tunnel.  You can also add extra padding to fill it out if it is too big.

 

The bottoms should be snug when you get them. They come with extra fabric where the connectors are attached which can easily be taken out or brought in by a local seamstress. 

Its really important you send us good quality pictures.  We require a front picture in a triangle swim top similar to our tops and a picture in a molded style top or bra.  NO SPORTS BRAS!! we have to be able to see if you require additional support.  

We do our best with the measurements provided to ensure a good fit.  It is up to you to ensure your measurements are accurate.  We do not offer refunds for incorrect measurements.  We will do our best to alter the suit or offer advice to have the suit altered by a seamstress.  If you have any questions or concerns after receiving your suit just send us an email and we would be happy to help!
